Mike greeted me & worked with all of my criteria, answered all of my questions, very friendly & very much no pressure. Troy made the finance transaction easy & painless, answered all of my questions, very friendly. Both were great to do business with and made the whole process an unexpectedly great experience purchasing @ Ubersox- Barneveld.
OK so you want an explanation for my 1 star rating. You actually got 1 star because giving negative stars isn't an option. I recently had one of your sales reps text message me. Yes just a random text message to ask me if I owned a vehicle. Notice my immediate reply was asking this unknown number who they are. I attached the entire conversation so you can read it for yourself. Thankfully I asked a few questions before wasting my time and gas to actually drive to your place to follow through with this "offer." Still during the entire conversation, not once did this sales rep actually identify him/herself. If this is the level of professionalism you condone to be displayed by associates working within your company, I want no part of it. I have never stepped foot onto your place of business and I have no desire to ever do so. The only inquiries I have looked into involving my vehicle are the possibilities of refinancing. I made that perfectly clear when replying to a solicitation letter sent to me in the mail giving me that option. If that's not what you're about then maybe you need to change your options in your marketing material you use to solicit people with. Oh and for future reference you might want to discuss with your sales reps the methods they use in communicating with the public. Especially through a random text message. Step 1: identify yourself. Give your name and business you are working for to start the conversation. That's basic communication 101. I don't even work in sales and I know that. Your reps do this for a living and they can't follow that one simple rule in communicating? Not very good for business. I would have been willing to make an additional purchase on a second vehicle, which I am still going to look into. Unfortunately for you, this transaction will not take place through your dealership.
Bought a car there last year and like it. The salesman (name?) was a really nice guy and Mercedes from the service department is always great. However, the power locks they installed stopped working about a month after installation. They had it fixed and again shortly after, not working. At least I was not charged. One of the key fabs (sp?)never worked and the other doesn't work anymore either, but might just need a battery. I was told the car would be detailed and it was not. I called to get a receipt, which they were happy to get for me. When I went to pick it up they where friendly, but the guy in the office with granite top desk couldn't be bothered to stop eating his garlic knots and signed my paper leaving a big greasy, saucy fingerprint. It was disgusting and super unprofessional. I will drive my car until time for another, and continue to get my oil changed here as to honor the terms of my lifetime power train warrany, but I most likely will not be buying another vehicle here.
Thanks Ubersox! Mike was great to work with! Very friendly, not pushy and helped answer all my questions. I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and family!
I wish I could leave negative stars. I recently bought a truck and most everything was misrepresented. I saw it on craigslist. The mileage was wrong and they had options listed that the truck did not have. I was also told two different storys of how they got the truck. Of coarse I found all this out after I bought it. After I got if home found all four shocks where bad and the front end needed alignment. Since I'm an hour and a half away asked if they could let my mechanic fix it. I was more or less called a liar by the owner as he could not believe that the shocks where bad in 37000 mi. He offered me 250 dollars on a 500 dollar repair because he didnt beleive me. So I would never recommend anyone to purchase anything from uber sox. I've already looked in to getting rid of this truck.
